Congrats Cait not long to get then just just just what place have u picked?
Littleredhead a good option for the hen do regarding the west coast could be galway for me – in fact il prob have mine there but if u are goin in a large group be mindful to get into pubs in smaller teams as though they kno u are really a hen u will get turned away.
The maxwemum amount of i wouldnt recommend a hen there as i love sligo! Plus galway has an airport where u can travel in from a reasonable few areas
Our company is surviving in manchester and hopin to maneuver back quickly but have always been finding it tough to make any plans bein thus far away – the net is my saviour and e-mail my best friend (so sad) lol!
Im up in Northern Ireland. We have hitched in Belfast in 25 times.
Ooh, many many thanks for the advice – but could we ask; why could you maybe perhaps perhaps not recommend Sligo? Can it be as it’s quiet and small? If so, which is what i am trying to find!
I must say I want someplace we could hire a cottage close to the coastline, aim for long coastline walks and discover a pleasant cosy but pub that is lively in place of pubs or groups, for the nights!
I understand it appears actually stupid and porn videos like We be seduced by every thing We see on television, but i’d like the type of Ireland the truth is in movies like PS i really like you – with plenty of rurally goodness and old-fashioned music. H2B’s moms and dads are Irish (though he is never resided there) therefore we’re having a couple of nods to this in the wedding (Irish ceilidh in the place of a disco. Can’t wait! ) as both of us are really taken with Irish music, culture and dancing. Let me stick to the theme on my hen evening too!
I’M Irish and residing in Cheshire. Maybe not planning to get hitched in Ireland but I would personally imagine we’re going to have celebration for relatives and buddies who cant make.
Littleredhead – I agree with Bacon become, Galway is a place that is great get and you may often find trad music etc in little pubs as well as its on the cosincetline also. Possibly head out a little further towards Clifden after which there is the option of going into Galway if you have a little bored stiff and for materials.
Stunning an element of the national nation however.
It really is small not a lot of clubs and that’s why i wouldnt reccomend it for the – but coastline wise we do possess some stunning ones esp aughris head beach that has a beach that is small having a thatched roof. Then again u are very far out of anythig else actually – galway has got a great mixture of both great beaches great atmosphere and if exactly what u are searching for is really a ceili however would reccomend Taffes bar on store st! Constantly a good musical organization here with an excellent environment
If u lookup sligo beaches there maybe some more – strandhill is really a lovely destination with a number of bars (likewise have trad music too) and breathtaking beach (really where mr bacon proposed. )
Hope that will help
I’m a bride that is irish staying in Manchester atm, but moving back into the north shore in about per month or more (originally from Lisburn), H2B has their dream job there – yey!! Sooo. Wedding planning is going to be a complete lot easier. We have been engaged and getting married on June 26th at Lusty Beg in Fermanagh. We am so freaking excited already!! Meeep!!

I had mine in Belfast Castle! =
Wow, many thanks for all of the advice, specially considering we completely hijacked your thread! I acquired spoke and overexcited to my MOH about this; we are really now evaluating Sligo and County Cork. Maybe not the town itself, but someplace more rural within the county.
I will be from Sligo, surviving in London and having hitched in Italy i realize exactly what your going through with perhaps maybe not being here to organise etc. Can be very stressfull. Where have you been marrying and where is reception??

LittleRedHead -I got hitched in Cork City October that is last!!
We married into the North Cathedral along with our reception in Blarney. Location-wise it is superb and never too much through the town either. You’ll have your photo’s taken during the castle making a backdrop that is lovely allowing. Day unfortunately, we weren’t able to take advantage of this as it rained (unusually for Ireland!! ) on our wedding!
We had been straight back in the location on Sunday for the anniversary dinner, and simply occurred to look into their wedding brochures. They will have some fantastic packages there which appear really value that is good cash.
They likewise have a sister hotel in Bunratty, Co Clare that will be just gorgeous! We invested our vacation here following a disaster that is slight the initial hotel we booked, in addition they could not do enough for people!
Hope it will help. Email me personally if you prefer further assistance or info.
BTW – when you do decide to visit Galway, DON’T go right to the Galway Bay. Which was where we’d a tragedy with all the spaces, together with to go to Bunratty. The ‘G’ is more preferable IMO.

Hi I experienced my hen week-end at Lough Rynn just last year, it really is therefore gorgeous, we remained when you look at the accommodation thats into the grounds, high grade accommodation. Had lunch in Lough rynn it was lovely, it had been so cosy the direction they have actually the split seating areas it’s like getting your very own family room, the major space in which you has your pre supper products was lovely, that they had the biggest christmas tree up. Looking to return in 2010 for the very first anniversary and stay at Lough rynn. Enjoy all the prep for the wedding I became on this type of downer whenever ours ended up being over.
